The Kooywood Art Gallery is one of the country's premier galleries specialising in Welsh art. Situated just 100 yards from the National Museum and Galleries of Wales, Cardiff, in the heart of the capital's cultural quarter the Kooywood Gallery showcases the very best of established and emerging Welsh artists; mixing regular solo and group exhibitions with a revolving display of new paintings, sculptures, ceramics and limited editions. It is also a specialist in the resale of work by leading 20th century Welsh artists including Ceri Richards, Sir Kyffin Williams, John Elwyn, Eric Malthouse, Alfred Janes, Tony Goble, Josef Herman and Will Roberts. The gallery is currently hosting a new exhibition in all 3 of our gallery spaces, Wales Works 2012, where almost 100 new paintings celebrate the land, sea and iconic locations of Wales. Contributing artists include Wilf Roberts, Carl Melegari, Matthew Snowden, Phil Parry, Clive Burnell, Wynne Jenkins, Malcolm Edwards, Gerald Dewsbury amd Janet Walters.
