Mark Samuel

Studied painting at Stourbridge College of Art. 1975 - 1978

Mark's paintings represent a personal vision of various moods and light observed from particular corners of his home in Cardiff. His work has evolved over many years from large landscapes, through a natural process of growing in painting style and approach.

This has resulted in a mature and confident handling of painting and composition. He attempts to let the oil paint and canvas convey the atmosphere of a scene without the necessarily recording of each and every detail.
