Glyn Jones

Glyn Jones was educated at Pentre Grammar School from 1948-53 and then at Cardiff College of Art from 1953-57, where he was awarded the Silver Medal. From 1957-60 Jones studied at the Slade School of Fine Art (University College, London).

Qualifications:
Ministry of Education Intermediate Certificate in Art and Craft 1955.
National Diploma in Design NDD 1957.
DFA (Lond) 1959
UCL Postgraduate Award for independent study at the Slade School 1959-60.

Employment:
Mid Warwickshire School of Art, Lecturer 1961-65.
Coventry College of Art, Coventry University, Lecturer and Senior lecturer, 1965-71.
Cardiff College of Art, University of Wales Institute Cardiff. Head of the School of Fine Art 1972-99.
Cardiff School of Art and Design, University of Wales Institute cardiff. Director of Research, 1999-2001.
